il try and keep it as short as poss! thanks those of you who make it to the end!
i moved my 7 year old horse on 27th december to livery to be stabled at night and out in the day from being out 27/4 and not doing very much work the occasion plod round the block thats all
Since i have worked up his fittness with schooling, walking hacks with a bit of trotting etc. i have had 3 falls! nothing major just general mishaps, the 3rd was a week ago on saturday that put me out of action for the week. i tried to ride yesterday, lunged him in the week and lunged him before i got him, all seemed fine, i got on to be immediately bronking 3 laps around the school before i was able to stop him. i had to get off after as it killed my back, i was only riding to see if it was any better and i could make the dressage comp i am scheduled for next sunday
now at a loss, very sore, dont know what to do. worried about my confidence etc etc
i need to get back on asap how would you suggest i go about it without coming a cropper...
i have had him since a 3 year old, backed myself, competed previously in all disaplines no problems. his teeth and back and saddle are to be checked this week but could still use some advice
and a pep talk!
