il try and keep it as short as poss! thanks those of you who make it to the end!

i moved my 7 year old horse on 27th december to livery to be stabled at night and out in the day from being out 27/4 and not doing very much work the occasion plod round the block thats all
Since i have worked up his fittness with schooling, walking hacks with a bit of trotting etc. i have had 3 falls! nothing major just general mishaps, the 3rd was a week ago on saturday that put me out of action for the week. i tried to ride yesterday, lunged him in the week and lunged him before i got him, all seemed fine, i got on to be immediately bronking 3 laps around the school before i was able to stop him. i had to get off after as it killed my back, i was only riding to see if it was any better and i could make the dressage comp i am scheduled for next sunday
now at a loss, very sore, dont know what to do. worried about my confidence etc etc
i need to get back on asap how would you suggest i go about it without coming a cropper...
i have had him since a 3 year old, backed myself, competed previously in all disaplines no problems. his teeth and back and saddle are to be checked this week but could still use some advice :( and a pep talk!

my horse waa naught for about the first 4-6 weeks of moving yard and i came off her twice. once she bronced me off and the other time wasnt her fault. but when i first got on her she was VERY light on her feet and if i didnt have a contact i know shed buck me off. after about 6weeks she settled, i think she just didnt like the change. she did also have 3 weeks off with an abscess. i lunged a few times and then lunged and got on after and just went a short walk then back to the yard so we ended on a good note. slowly built up time on hack etc and then introduced small amount trotting and built it up from there. i avoided the school until she was calmer. for some reason i feel safer hacking than in the school. also getting teeth back and saddle checked is a good idea. hope your horse settles!

It could be lots of things, teeth, back, saddle are a good starting point, look at the changes to diet, is he getting more or something different, is he exercising when out in the field or restricted due to size of turnout or being bullied by field mates???
Is he settled in the stable, getting plenty of fibre, if under stress with the move, more work etc, ulcers could be developing.
I would rule out physical issues before getting back on, if it is out of character he is telling you he either hurts or is very unhappy in his new environment.
