Problems watching discovery +

Having some problems! I’ve got a subscription £6.99, to Discovery + but when I try and watch the dressage, I’m being asked to upgrade my pass and can’t watch anything! Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. Thanks all.
 
I started with the £3.99 which didn’t work so have just bought the £6.99 which definitely includes the Olympics - I must be missing something 🤔
 
Sorry you are having trouble. I bought the £3.99 Olympic coverage. I am useless at technology but did transfer it from my iPad to the tv and have watched all the dressage this morning. It is real hit and miss to get in on it and when there was a break, I missed the first after the break because it took forever to go back in even though I hadn’t signed out! Don’t really understand it all but praying I can get back for the key players this afternoon and all the xc tomorrow!
 
I’ve just tried again- going round in circles with the helpline bot🤦‍♀️. I can access all the films etc, just not the Olympics ( which I know I have paid for)I keep getting taken to a page which tells me to upgrade my pass to start viewing. So I bought a £6.99 pass- still getting taken back to the same page- very,very frustrating!! Can’t work out what I’m doing wrong 😑

If it full of adverts then?
 
I've just looked into it and apparently this is a widespread issue and the price you've paid makes no difference, nor does it seem to matter whether you are streaming via the discover app or through Discovery on Sky/Prime. Loads of complaints online about it.
 
I don’t normally watch tv. Mr StR tells me we have Discovery +, unfortunately Mr StR is out and I have no bloody idea how I find it, the most I can normally manage is turn it on, and press guide!
 
Spotherisk, when you first turn the tv on is there a line of little boxes along the bottom? It’s where you can usually find iplayer etc. If there is then you scroll along and click on the one that says discovery plus.
Does Mr StR know he pays a subscription to it? It’s not the same as Discovery on Sky.
 
I get it with Sky.

Tried watching it and it just judders continuously. I gave up.

I guess I need to cut my trees 🤷‍♀️
 
We’re supppsed to have it as part of our sky package but it’s just not working - after being on the sky helpline for an inordinate length of time I got told that apparently Discovery have decided to install some updates and this is causing the problem for lots of people 🤷‍♀️
