I bought an item on buy it now on 21/12/06. Had problems with the link she gave me to pay via Nochex, so emailed her to tell her the problem. She sent me the correct link and I paid on 23/12/06. I got an email off her on 27/12/06 to say they were now closed for christmas and would deal with my email/purchase on 03/01/07.
So I re emailed her 04/01/07 asking whether or not she had sent he item and if not when was she so I could get someone to keep any eye out for it (rather than having to go collect it from post Office)
So far still no contact from her. Just been and checked her feedback and found that someone who bought the same item as me has left feedback saying "item was not available"
WTF - what is the point in advertising goods that arent available.
So how long should I leave it before I re email her or contact ebay?

Oh yes - does anyone know where I can get a 22ft training line from if the ebayer doesnt get this sorted?
 
she said she didnt have paypal account. Read up about it and it seemed ok.Do you know anything about Nochex that I should be worried about? paid by Credit Card so might get in touch with them tomorrow to cancel the payment

Very sensible. Far easier to sort out if you have problems.

Is she a merchant rather than individual seller?

Sometimes they are slower.

E-mail again, warn you may report if no reply. If no reply report her.
 
i though that too - i always buy off internet with credit card just in case i have a problem like this. yes shes a merchant.
I bought a couple of items off her months ago and she wasn absolutely brilliant. Wont buy off her again.
Will email her now to say if i dont hear anything by end of tomorrow ill report her - see what she says to that
 
No you don't have to have a PayPal account either to be on eBay or to sell on eBay. I always buy using my PayPal account - for the security it gives me but I don't use it for selling as it can be iffy for sellers!
 
yes ive just been looking at the community boards about Nochex. Its safe and would be as good as Paypal if it was easy to access and log onto to set up an account.
heres hoping the seller gets back in touch with me.
 
you dont have to have a paypal account to be on ebay but it is the easiest way to pay for stuff..nochex isnt a problem either, i have both and pay by both with no problems. email seller tell her she has had long enough to deal with your goods and if you dont get a reply within 48 hours then you will report her and leave neg feedback...even if you do get the goods, leave her a netural feedback as this isnt acceptable.
 
i hope i can get the goods - been told that the price i paid for a 22ft line is very good bargain. Shame it looks like a bargain ill never actually get. off to email seller now
 
I would open up a non receipt claim through ebay, hopefully that will prompt her to reply to you.

I was a powerseller on ebay up until a few weeks ago, cant be bothered with all the selling anymore, and had my fair share of sellers like that. And dodgy buyers too. Ebay is super but there are some crooks out there.

Just keep on at her!
 
Dot wait too long, give her until say tomorrow to reply, as you only have a certain amount of time to open the claim, closing for xmas is no excuse, if she wasnt going to post the item she shouldnt have listed it before xmas.
