Hi
We put this surface down on top of our new silica sand outdoor arena, a few of our neighbours already had the surface and it seemed fantastic. Ours arrived and the first month it seemed to be good apart from it moving a little but put that down to it needing to bed down we also noticed it was slightly different from all the images of the flexiride surface we had been sent we phoned equestrian direct and they said we needed to give it more time and it was the same surface. Six months later and the surface got worse, it moves all the time and horses really struggle on it. We contacted Equestrain direct who sent someone to view it to see where we are going wrong and to explain why our surface is completely different from our neighbours that all have the exact same looking surface. We rode one of the horses round and showed him the divots that appeared with just light work and then jumping the horse's hoof was cutting right down through the surface right into the sand which he agreed was worrying. He then went on to explain that they have two different depots so can't guarantee the exact same surface which completely shocked us as they are advertising one type of surface but it seems its down to sheer luck on what depot it arrives from if it will be the actual one they advertise. Has anyone else had problems with this surface or company?
Many thanks
