Morning all, and Happy New Year!
In 2015 I ordered a trailer from Titan Horse Trailers (a now Spanish based company), who were very active on Facebook and very persuasive over email, messages and on the phone. I paid a deposit of £5,054 in March 2015 for a brand new trailer that they were building for me.
However the trailer never arrived by the date they said it would 22nd May 2015. They stated that they had problems with their factories and supply chain so they agreed to refund me my money.
It's now 2018 and I've still not received the refund. That's nearly three years since they agreed to refund me. There are CCJs against their English Company and European Payment Orders against their Spanish Company but with no assets listed against their Spanish company there is nothing for the bailiffs to collect to get our money back. So we have exhausted the legal option at present unless there are any here who specialise in this kind of law and can help us!
The worse thing is, I'm not the only one, there are many others and we are owed tens of thousands of pounds all together. Some with claims going back five years.

Stay safe everyone and do your homework before putting a deposit on anything. Check the Companies House website for CCJs against the company, pay with a Credit Card, not BACS like we stupidly did (because Titan insisted on it and wouldn't accept credit card payment), and basically don't trust anyone with your money because there are some terrible people out there.
I've been tempted to start a JustGiving campaign to help all those affected, as this isn't small change and we are hardworking people who put our faith in a company to just have it torn apart. The stress this is causing is incredible, you wake up at night thinking you were so stupid to trust these people and feel embarrassed that you fell for it. If anyone has done this sort of campaign before, please can you help us as I don't know where to start and I feel like we have to do something to move past this.
PS. Any response from Titan Horse Trailers gratefully received. Please give back all the money you owe to people immediately like you promised (take out a credit card / loan if you have to, as this wasn't your money to begin with). Please no more excuses.
