Has anyone got a pair of these chaps (made by Belstane)? I tried a pair on at Badminton but was put off by the price. They felt really comfy but I'm loathed to spend this much without some feedback. Also need to know if they stretch after wearing as I'm worried that whilst they might fit really well when they are new they may start to go baggy after a while.
Many thanks..

Yay, they got a distributer! :) (I was talking to their rep last year and they'd found one for France but not yet for the UK.)

I really like mine. Full chaps are much more popular in Canada (winter and all that) so the price is less of an issue relative to leather ones. They are also more waterproof and the dye doesn't run like sometimes happens with leather. They aren't waterproof waterproof but they're certainly dry and comfortable for regular riding.

Mine did stretch a bit. I bought them with the rep there and the suggestion was that I get the tightest possible size to be able to do them up comfortably, same as leather. Some people don't like their chaps super snug, though, so it depends on what you want. (I can't wear the wax chaps because having them that loose just doesn't feel "right" to me.)

So yes, thumbs up. I don't ride in mine in the summer so don't know how they'd do in the heat but that's what half chaps are for. :)
