I'm interested in creating new products and designing them and I thought that combining this with something else i love would be a good idea. I cant seem to find anything on the internet about designing new products in the equestrian industry and wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction. E.g. the best companies to contact and where i could find out some more information about this type of job

I think the question you've asked is quite broad because there are so many equestrian products for the rider, the horse and the stable yard. BETA (British Equestrian Trade Association) hold an annual innovation award which looks at new products. It might be worth looking in that area and then thinking more about the sphere you're interested in.
