Hello,
I am looking to have my horse professionally re-schooled by a trainer. I have searched everywhere, and have only found a couple of places, which are still options at the moment. I was wondering if anyone knew of any trainers they could tell me about as i am really struggling.
I don't mind sending my horse away, or him staying at my yard, and money isn't really an object.
I would love to hear from anyone who could help at all, or point me in the right direction.
Thanks, Frazz <font color="blue"> </font>

It is expensive if you send them to someone do you not know of anyone local who will come and ride your horse about 4 times per week much more cost effective. I know of a girl in Cheshire who is fantastic and quite cheap PM me and I will give you her details if you get desperate.

I sent my 4 yo to a pro yard to do some intense flatwork schooling - she was brilliant with my horse and the horse was amazing when she came home. Would really recommend her but i dont know if shes a bit further than you would want to bring him - shes in Barnsley South Yorkshire. Pice wasnt bad either
Shes BHSAI and affiliated ODE Reg. Member of Trainers Database (Dressage Specialist) if thats any help to you - pm me if you want further details

she was initially sent away for 2 wks but my instructor said she wasnt physically ready for it so she came home and stayed in the field for nearly 5 wks then sent her back and she stayed another 8wks. Came on so well we even competed in our 1st dressage comp after the 8wks was up and got a remarkable 63% - was so pleased.
this was her after her 1st wk there (the 2nd time she went)

She looks great!!! She had to go away for a long time! Well my pony is a 14.2hh 5year old welsh cobby cob, i have had him since he was 3, and have done pony club with him. He is really coming on with his jumping, but he is very much on the forhand in flatwork. A couple of weeks ago he stumbled in canter and i fell off and his hooves hit my hat and scraped down my face. I am fine, luckily, but he has this tripping problem, probably because he is so lazy, but i have really lost my confidence and don't want to ride him incase he trips anymore, so my mum and i have decided that the best option is to have him reschooled, as i have done as much as i can.

People have said he may have neurological problems, but the vet said he was ok the last time he came, what to do!??!?!?!?!?! He doesnt show any other signs of a bad back or discomfort, and his saddle fits...

it was a decision I made as i broke her myself when she was 3 then turned away. I really messed up with my last horse as Ebi doesnt do dressage (camel impression comes to mind) which let us down in the eventing. Wanted to start as i mean to go on with this one. She just ended up staying as she was coming on so well. Also we sold our wagon so had no transport to bring her home after the first 6wks till our trailer arrived.
We sent our Welsh D - shes 7 and has had her problems - she has had about 4 attacks of lammi in her lifetime and in between hasnt really been done much with. She then also nearly ripped her foot off her leg so has had a lot of time of work. When she was backed it wasnt done very good - she was booted on in canter but pulled in to a contact with a curb rein so she lengthens her frame too much then looses the canter. She went to her for 4 wks when we fetched my 4 yo home - wow what a difference - you still couldnt sit to her canter as she hollows quite a bit but she came on very well and she did her 1st dressage comp after her 4wk stint and came 6th.

id certainly send mine away again for it if needs be.
where abouts are you?
