We have finally turned a corner. Various factors have led to a significant improvement in his condition in the last month. I am sooo pleased, as at one point we weren't sure where this was heading.
Factors have been :
His worming programme continues - almost definately riddled when he came to us in Nov.
Blood tests revealed likely stomach ulcar/s - diet amended accordingly.
Longterm move from Spillers YM to D&H Suregrow (with fenugreek).
One weeks supply of Vi Sorbin.
Recovering well from April's op of being gelded.
Good summer grass.
General confidence in his surroundings and consistancy of his routine.

Some before and after pics. I know we have a long way to go, but we are not rushing the changes, and his improvement is so pleasing that we will see what the summer holds! Our vet is coming to see him again in 4 weeks to check up on him, take further bloods to compare, and if he has dipped again poss scope him, but, fingers crossed we are on the right road now. Yay...

Bless him, didnt have the best start in life did he!!

Glad hes ended up at a nice home, hes looking alot better, well done you x

Thank you. Taking each day as it comes literally, but to try and wish anything overnight or within 'weeks' would be unrealistic, although its hard as Ive never taken on a 'project' before, and you just want the best for him, Now!. So pleased he is brightening up and having a growth spurt, will write again in another month!
