So as Barney just about took the nose off an unruly choc lab this morning I thought I should really crack down on his behaviour so took him, a half check collar and a bag of cooked chicken chunks to the busiest dog park I could think of.... we only managed to walk 1km on the lead in one hour, I made him sit and watch me if any dog of any kind came into view and apart from a blip with a border who knew I had chicken and wouldn't leave us alone he FINALLY learnt that he's not allowed to bark at anyone or anything whilst on the lead. It's like a penny dropped and he looked at me with his head tilited as if to say "so thats what what you wanted, why didn't you just say?!"
