OK being brave!
Garth (or Garffy as I like to call him from Birds of a Feather
) came to me almost 5 weeks ago been out of work for a while- fluffy and a bit lean (not poor or unloved my any measure) but dream character and just had 'something about him'.
When I viewed him
1st week was snow so we just had some bonding time
Had his back done a as part of routine but also they way he stood really worried me... misaligned pelvis which was put right, standing better and better everyday since and follow up appointment next week.
2nd week lunging & getting shiny!
3rd week lunging and hacking Excuse my daughters- as you can see he's also child proof!
4th week I've been in spain for half term so he's had every other day lunging
5th week - well today.... I schooled him a bit in the field lots of bending serpentines etc etc and he's starting to really stretch long and low both in walk and trot
But took advantage of a dog walker (not in that way
) and got some 'onboard' pictures (yes I look like a sack of spuds - i'm blaming the week in Marbs on the Carbs- flatwork lesson tomorrow)
I hope you think he has improved- we still have WAY to go I know that but I think we're heading in the right direction!
