Anyone been on the website lately?

Is it just me or are some of them asking stupidly high prices for some of the horses on there considering the current climate.....or am I just out of touch on the value of 'project horses' these days

Well I wasnt referring to them all, just was quite suprised at some of the prices on some of the adds thats all.

Some are more expensive than say the ones advertised in H&H or say horsemart/horse deals etc.....then again maybe there just being more honest lol (that was joke by the way just in case anyone was offended).

Just wondered if I was not alone in thinking that some of them were a bit pricey thats all.

I just saw a horse on there for £3800, £3800 for a project horse

Honestly I think you're right - most of the safe, sane and sensible horses I know cost less than that.

The best of it is, is all its done is hack! If that's all it takes to cost nearly 4k then I think you're right. Practically given away any horse i've ever sold

hmm all very strange really the prices of horses, I know one that at is advertised for £6000 and its a buggar, it won't go out on its own and rears, all you can do is ride it in a school and and it won't load, so you can't even take it anywhere.

Not sure I'd be paying that for it and god help anyone that buys it.

I'd feel like I was rapeing someone selling something like that for that much.

True but maybe they would have a better chance of being re-homed and brought on if they were just a little wee bit cheaper in some cases.

You don't have to buy them.

This is true, however it is my opinion that your average joe horse who is a 'project' horse isn't likely to be brought for over £4000. Unless people have secret money trees they aren't telling us about

i totally agree, i kno some people dont like this website but i think its fab, i found my highland a brilliant loan home from there, she went and done natural horsemanship and came back a different pony easy to handle etc.

i looked on the site a couple of days ago and the prices being asked are crazy!!!

however there is an absolutly stunning NF X for sale

i want lol!!

My Ed is from there, he was sensibly priced and from a sensible home. I think the only thing you can say in critisim of PH is it does invite the fantasists and fools a little too much!!

I like the concept of the website and it must be doing something right as alot of you have got horses off there which is good. But I have to agree that the prices of some of the horese are high, especially in the current market. This is just my thoughts, don't shoot me down!
