I read a lot of very good opinions on this product but I was still my usual old sceptical self, however, I decided to send away for a sample to use for a one off situation, and have to say I was mightily impressed with the results.

Before I dash off spending money on some more of this magic potion can any body tell me what exactly is in this product? My logic tells me it works, so just get some to have on hand for a repeat situation......but my concern for my animals does leave me a tad worried about feeding something that I have absolutely no idea of the contents?

Anyone?:)

company info is all about what is NOT in the product. However good it may or maynot be, I would want the manufacturer to say what it contained, before I used it. Have you asked the manufacturer?

I have the tub of prokalm and it gives a very general list of ingredients. I don't have it to hand, but it is along the lines of herbs and amino acids. While it doesn't say it, I wonder if it has L-tryptophan in as equine america's so-kalm does and is the only other non-prescribed calmer that works on my boy.

It says on their website that it doesn't have tryptophan and I am assuming that is the same as L-trytophan?

Well I am thinking I might just get it anyway if it is only amino acids and herbs, because the sample really worked. I was happy to try it 'unknown' as it were, for a difficult one of situation, but because it was so remarkably effective I would like some on stand by. Just seems a bit odd to give something that I have absolutely no idea of the ingredients!

Perhaps I am being over cautious.
