So I bought my boy a brand new set of Prolites (front and rear) ready for Hunting this season. We wore them for the first time today on a Hunt Ride and the front ones were fine, but the back ones have rubbed his legs in two strips down each leg bless him! :( Luckily he has all of the hair on his legs or else this could have been quite nasty!

Anyone else had this problem? I feel like I have wasted my money on them now, and was pleased to have a matching set of boots but now going to have to find something else for behind... any recommendations for boots for really sensitive skinned horses that won't rub? Otherwise, will be back to old and trusty Woof Wear club boots! Thanks :)

I always find hind event boots difficult to fit perfectly so I feel your pain.

You just need to keep trying in my experience.

Kentucky event boots are on offer at Old Dairy Saddlery at the moment, tbh I would think these would be more suitable for hunting because they are lighter than the prolites.

The other make I like are the New Equine Wear boots, also lightweight.
