I'm looking for something to raise my saddle slightly as it's sitting too low. Saddler suggested a barnsby (I think) numnah which had a neoprene type material where the saddle would sit to cushion and give a little lift. However I don't think this would work for me as I just want something to slip under saddle rather than a whole numnah. A Prolite pad seems the obvious way to go, but I tried one before and it always slipped out the back, and I found them quite firm. I came across a Griffin Nuumed wool half numnah, which looks lovely. It has the Hiwither cut (so won't pull down on his withers like current numnah does), and straps to attach to the D ring on saddle so it won't move about. It looks lovely for the horse, but would it give enough lift to the saddle or am I wasting my money? Other suggestions very welcome! Thanks
