Prolite saddle stay pad - anyone else had this?

Used one today for the first time and did a fantastic job of keeping my saddle in place. Placed it directly onto onto the back as it says in the leaflet, with an ANKY pad on top. When I untacked my horse it had left an "imprint", basically, where the air holes are, he had little bumps on his back...? After five mins and a sponge down they vanished but is this normal? Answers on a postcard please!

PS If anyone has an impakt pad (20mm) that they no longer use, please PM me!
