I need to buy some boots for cross country and have been recommended prolite closed front tendon boots and hind event boots. What size would I need for a 16.2HH Irish sports horse? They come in medium and large but I cant find any m,easurements anywhere??

My sister has large for the front and her horse is 16.1hh (with quite long legs!). However, I bought her the hind boots for xmas and they seem a little large both in length and width for him really (more width I think).

I think though large would be best for a 16.2hh (unless it has especially short cannons or is fine boned). My sister may want to now sell hers so PM if you want me to ask her. I think they are just going to be too big for xc use for her.

I have a 16.2hh ISH (in my siggy) he is best with medium infront, and large behind.

I have a 16.1TB who is chunky for a TB. I bought large front and hind thinking thats what i would need.

The large fronts are just OK, i can get them tight enough not to move but would have been better with the medium, and the large hind boots hung off his legs so i had to get medium. They were far to long and i couldnt fasten them tight enough not to move.

hope that helps!
