My boss has an 8 year old daughter who is a little star. They have a super pony and at their yard and locally are very much admired. They regularly take part and are placed at show jumping.

For the majority of us funding can be limiting and I wondered how sponsorhip might be secured for an up and coming superstar.

They are limited to local shows due to having to hire a horse box if they want to go further afield and so are being held back somewhat through no fault of their own.

If there is anyone out there who could offer some advice it would be warmly welcomed.

Many thanks xxx

I don't know the first thing about this sort of stuff but I would have thought that one would stand a better chance of getting sponsorship / being talent spotted if they were riding in an affiliated league or something where records are kept and they work their way up through the ranks (I know I've got all that wording wrong, but you get my drift?!). Do I mean BSJA? I don't know! Perhaps contact a recognised trainer or sj establishment and ask their advice on where to go / who to speak to. And there's always the pony club - that would get the child into bigger comps / leagues too. Sounds like it may be an idea to save up for a trailer. Lucky child, sounds fab.
