A few months ago, my lad decided he was goin to head butt his hayrack, taking the fur off that area of his face. The hair hasnt shown much sign of regrowing (other than the odd tiny spikey hair!) I wondered if there is anything i can put on it to promote the regrowth?

I used E45 where clippers had cut to close to my hosrses skin and scalped him a little on his neck. E45 made the hair grow back reallly weell after a few weeks.

Cornucrescine works by being a mild irritant so where it is applied (usually the coronet band) becomes inflamed, bringin more blood to the area thus improving hair (and hoof) growth. Once again, I wouldn't put anything remotely like that anywhere near a horse's eyes or mucus membranes.

Hi, I looked after a horse whilst i was at college who he had a few, quite bad bald patces and I used coconut oil (you can get this most chemists/Boot's type shops now) - it is great on the skin which helps the hair growth it helped it come back really thick. Plus he smelt lovely! hope you find something that helps you :)
