I can get rolled barley from my parents (they are farmers) BUT it has Propcorn in it. I cant find anything online that tells me not to feed to horses infact every site I have found says that its been successfully fed to all animals including horses for years. Anyone any advice? I currently feed alot of fibre (1.5 scoops Alpha twice a day) with half a scoop of conditioning cubes twice a day) and Top Spec feed balancer. I'm aware that the vitamin content of barley isnt great but would just be substituting my Conditioning cubes for Barley so I would still be feeding a balancer. Thanks :)

It is used to dry the barley.
We use it for the cattle barley but I daren't feed it to the horses as I've heard it's v bad for them.
I can't find anything telling me its ok for horses specifically so until then ill keep buying it in.

Horses are totally different from ruminants so I just daren't risk it!
