I was really happy yesterday when it started raining in Beds/Herts and I'm even happier this morning to see that it appears to have rained all night. Good, steady, proper rain.

I never thought I'd be so delighted to see a wet morning! Our grazing was crying out for a good downpour so fingers crossed that it starts to grow!

Same here in Ashford kent!!! Although I did have different views when donovan took 45 mins to load in the pouring rain yesterday!!!

I'm not being greedy, but we could with a couple of inches more as my hay field which is clay has very large cracks and the field is sandy, so looks like the Sahara desert:(:( And I'm in Beds

YaY! :D Never been so excited to see rain. Our fields are so hard and full of cracks.
My children are practicing for the mounted games comp, and are having to take it easy, because of the impact on the ponies legs. We also need the grass to grow! It also really hurts when you fall, its like falling on concrete! :(

It was supposed to rain here all day yesterday....but it didn't

The rest of the country is drowning and we still have bright skies and sunshine.

Can I send my donkey and Cushings pony to live with you? They were both sweating in the heat on Saturday (26 degs) so I asked a friend to clip them, they are now both rugged up as it started raining as they were finished and hasn't stopped yet. :(

Murphy's got a lot to answer for with that d@mn law of his.

Since the second week of MARCH, we have had only 4/5 days of rain, so I was so pleased that we had a decent few hours of wet stuff on Monday. Our field needs it, although the mares are looking fine.
