My very old lad Jerry has one on his neck.
He is fast even for his age and indeed he is special - SPECIAL NEEDS! lol
I don't think I have a photo of it though, I'll go and have a look.

My old pony had one, on her neck, exactly size of a thumbprint. She was Connemara x TB and she was fab.

It's been interesting reading this thread! I only found out quite recently that it was called the Prophet's Thumb - my saddle fitter told me about it and said it means the horse is lucky! Here's a picture of my horse with his prophet's thumb on his neck!
