Just trying to figure out what Im doing for 2026.
I have always been a member of Showjumping Ireland and every year paying €350+ membership and not getting anything back.
Competition prices are all the same (registered and unregistered)
I can still attend SJAI shows and jump on a temp ticket if I so wished.
My older mare is now a Grade A so not much point trying to get more points on her, and neither of my girls will be sold so no point in trying to build points to increase price.
Just trying to figure out if there's much point being affiliated when I gain nothing?
I stopped joining Eventing Ireland for this reason and just compete at unaffiliated One day events now.
What would you guys do?
