Has anyone had any success with one of these? Ive got a mare who could always do with being slightly more relaxed at events so I wondered if this would help. Not sure if the infared thing does much or not? But did think the slightly padded type ears might help block out the sound a little which might help take the edge off her.

Nope, they also come up small and don’t stay put even with the straps done up. I sold mine on and would say save your pennies or try to pick up a second hand one cheaply if you want to give it a try.

For sound reduction, Ive found Pomms to be fantastic, . Take your time to introduce, but love them for my Arab.

Should have said, I tried the accoustic le mieux fly guard. My boy hated it. Head shook his whole bridle off. That was interesting. lol

I have both the fly veil and the poll pad and have found they've worked wonders in helping to reduce M's poll tension and general competition stressiness. I use the ears for comps as they're BD legal and then the poll pad for every day wear. Size wise I found them pretty standard, maybe a smidge smaller than eskadron but not enough to need to go up a size.
