I've seen a few pictures of protective pads on the outside of horseboxes to protect the paint from scratches from haynets etc. Does anyone know who makes them and also how they attach?
They fix onto the same type off sliding bolt that secures the jockey door so the surfact is flush and a horse can't catch on it. They are normally in place when you buy the box and the screens come too as made to measure. I presume you can get them retrofitted if you go back to your manufacturer.
You can buy ready made padded ones but in reality you don’t need the padding and all they do is add another bulky object to lug around...
I made mine from vinyl curtainsider material... you just need a local company to be able to stitch the seams... an upholsterer would take seconds to do it...
They are held in place with plastic turnbuckles... the sheets take 2 seconds to fit and take off and they wipe clean... and more importantly they fold flat...
