protein levels - studmix

Is 16% protein in a stud mix to high for a 3 year old???

What are the pro's and cons of such a level??

Baileys stud mix. Ive been recommended to start feeding Inky on this as he is now starting to do some work and last year he lacked so much energy and "sparkle" at shows but im slightly worried about the protein levels

Have you spoken to Baileys? That seems quite a lot of protein for such a small person

Ha no ive not as yet!! Will do though but thought id get some opinions here!!

i was told that the protein levels need to be about 10%. Too much can be bad for them and make them grow too fast too son.
It would probably be best to speak to a nutrionalist at a feed company.
