Spaniel going in for an anal gland flush out today, she cant have any food. I havent told her shes going to the vets, day has been as normal so far, but we have had two poos on the carpet !

Ugh, those glands are horrible. My dog had to have it done recently. The smell🤮
Just got home to a dreadful smell, other dog has pooed as well, never smelt anything like it. Wondering if it was a tin of beef and kidney dog food they had yesterday, not given it to them before. Then I had to open the door to the electric meter reader while trying to waft the pong out !

I’ve realised that my two have stopped-aged 9, birthday last Friday-leaking on me finally! I haven’t changed their diet or anything.
Spaniel has pooed for England yesterday and overnight two piles in the hall! I think she knows all is not well as she is getting on the sofa next to me now and shes never done that before and she seems a bit unsure generally.
