My gelding is super sensitive to his abdomen area has runny poos and nipps when being racked up I can tell his mood has changed from the sweet boy he usually is he also ticks himself up and puts his ears back when I press round his guts near his hind however typical thoroughbred stress head and has been quite unwell recently he has also piled on a load of weight since getting him so I suspected gut/ gastric upset maybe ulcers going to try the Protexin acid ease does anyone have any experience of this does it work ? How long to see results ? And help appreciated also I know that if it doesn’t help to get the vet to get him scoped vets already took blood tests recently which are clear so they’re happy for me to try with him before further investigation x

I mean you're right I'd scope and or treat for gastric ulcers but as supplements go I really rate protein acid ease especially for hind gut ulcers. It's got the gut balancer in it as well.
I'm be confident you'd see results within a week.

My mare has had runny poos and wind for a few years. I’d tried everything else but this has cured her! The only time she was ok before was when on grass only, even hay set her off. Quick fix worked but but that’s obviously not designed for continuous use.
In summary it’s 5 stars from me.

👍 big thumbs up from me- could see improvement in a few days and a noticeable differences in a week. I learnt on here that Pinkmash contains Protexin, so have since switched to this as a cheaper option and have kept horses on a small handful throughout the summer- they look great on it and I'll step it back up as a feed throughout winter.

Brilliant stuff! I've recommended it many times and used it on my horses. Never had anyone who didn't notice a positive change in the horse after a few days!
