I could ring the company but I know a few people on HHO use it for horses that have had ulcer treatment.

Do you use the Gut Balancer or the Acid Ease? Horse has been on a post ulcer treatment from the vet but that is around £100 a month so looking to use an alternative particularly as horse is now out 24/7, retired and stress free!!

Thanks.

Acid Ease is for calming excess acid in the stomach (ie for horses at risk of gastric ulcers) and Gut Balancer is 'good bacteria' for discomfort further along the gut (hind gut sensitivity / ulceration / poor function).

You need the right product for the specific issue (or something that does both if you have both issues). If your horse's issue is purely gastric rather than in the gut, the gut stuff won't make a difference. Equally the other way...

Another vote for lifeforce here... have my gelding on it, he finished his gastroguard a few weeks ago now (i've lost count actually) and we havent looked back!
