Had a really long, tiring day yesterday that was so much fun and made me the proudest mummy in the world!!!
Finished night shift and went to bed for 2hrs before getting back up and helping Jess get her pony ready for a local show. Got there with her first class going in so quickly got ready and joined the ring. It was "Pony/horse the judge would most like to take home" and boy did she test them all out. Jess was the only one still on the lead rein and she hasn't done that much trotting. She tends to start to giggle and lose her balance and end up in fits of laughter. She was determined though and we had to trot round the whole ring twice!! She sat up and did it like she'd been doing it for years. I was so proud! She then had to dismount and trot him up herself and then more trotting as the others were all able to canter off the lead rein (most were teenagers). She only went and WON!!! I was so proud of her because she tried so hard and she nailed that trotting so well. That kid is such a trier!
She also went on to get 2nd in "pony with the prettiest face" and then 3rd in "best mane and tail" The show was fab and she got 3 Likits as prizes as well as a wee trophy, some tack cleaning wipes and a 10% off voucher for their tack shop which she used on buying Toffee a salt lick. Really enjoyable day
