Proud mother post!!!

Baby horse was chucked out 24/7 on Easter Monday and then left in the field for a couple of weeks.

In those two weeks she managed to go feral and there was much faffing about when trying to lead etc.

This morning she walked out to the field with no hassle at all (even past the cows and the flapping bale wrap

)

Kind of thought it was a fluke and she just hadn't woken up

However, tonight she repeated the whole performance without any hassle whatsoever.

Maybe just as well I decided to keep her

I'm hoping that when we get our own place, I'll be able to hide them away. If he does notice(!), I can say "What? This old thing? Had it for years, it's been in the back of the stable"

You'll be fine - he'll never notice. I find using lots of 'technical' horsey terms quickly brings on the glazed look.....result!!!

We have to colour code the horses, otherwise the 13.1hh bay would go out in the seven foot turnout that belongs to the 16.3hh ginger one

I wasn't allowed to get a bay horse 'cos hubby wouldn't be able to detemine which was which in the field
