Don't often post but read most threads and learning so much from here!!
My daughter is 9 and has a 13'2 pony who she adores. She saved so hard to buy her pony and was given the chance to buy her fave pony from the riding school she used to go to so jumped at the chance. This pony was the first pony dd rode after having a bad accident, which resulted in her been laid up for 3 months, the year previous on a different pony. Anyway she was coming on in leaps and bounds til this summer she broke her arm and couldn't ride all summer. Shes back riding a few weeks and today she was jumping and having a ball. Was so proud of her.
My second proud moment was when i realised for the first time today the bond my dd and her pony have. We bought a horse box recently and the pony has never been easy to load so we decided we would practise loading her just to make life a bit easier when we start going to shows and stuff. I tried today and pony was putting 2 feet on ramp and hopping off again. My daughter asked could she try and the pony loaded straight away for her! I was so proud of them both. My little girl was beaming from ear to ear that her pony will load for her and not for me!!
A very pointless post but just want to share mine and my little girls happiness with someone!!! Thanks for reading!!!

Omg I'm crying at everything tonight!!! But what a lovely post!
You must be soooo proud, not a pointless post at all!! :)

How wise to practise ahead of needing to load for a shoe, and what a super pony responding to your daughter, no wonder you feel proud.
Ah thanks. Shes not easy to load so thought best to work on her. Hopefully if she keeps been this good we'll have no probs in future. Have only had her at 2 shows since we got her and was a bit of a nightmare loading her for those and never let my daughter load her before. Never thought ponywould load so easy for her. Just shows sometimes the bond between horse and rider can be so powerful!!
