For those of you who has followed my posts and given some fantastic advice when Ruby was lame. I am now happy to say, she is officially back in work :D

My saddle arrived last Sunday afternoon, so didn't get a chance to ride, as was getting dark. So on Saturday I arranged to go for a hack with a good friend. I was very nervous (I'm a nervy rider anyways) but more then usual as Ruby hasn't been ridden in 3 months! although she has been for lots and lots of in hand hacks. I don't know what I was so afraid of! she didn't put a foot out of line. She led the whole way, had some teeny tiny spooks, at a man and then a goat. But she walked past pigs, chickens, scary objects etc absolutly fine. Had a nice long trot up the hill and then a nice long walk home. Lot of cuddles and kisses afterwards for Ruby.

Sunday I arranged to go on another hack, I had tacked up and waiting to go, when I recieved a text from friend, saying she wasn't riding as she wasn't too well (stupid signal on phone, stopped me recieving the text when I should have done 2 hours earlier) Ruby was already tacked and I was itching to ride, so I thought sod it, and took her on a hack alone. She was perfect again, didn't spook at anything (despite lots of scary things around) and we had another lovely trot.

I was so happy with her and proud of us both! No photos of me on board. But I do have a photo of her modeling her new hi vis leg bands (sorry about the dodgy clip and massive s**t stain :o:rolleyes:)
