Beau came to the horse show yesterday!

I was like ok on the lead, hopefully he will just behave himself sufficiently NOT to be a pain in butt!!!

When round my horse he was adamant he wanted to say hello (horse was slightly less impressed) so OH took him away to the gallery....

Then when I was in the rings etc, or even when it wasnt me but he was in the gallery, he just settled down and stayed quiet and patient! The only time he purked up particularly in the gallery was when a kid came to say hello or in the ridden championship coz we all got a bit excited (mine especially!)

I was such a proud mummy coz everyone was saying how pretty and well behaved he was!!! (Cue beeming me!!)

I think one of the reasons it does feel so special when your dog's behaviour is praised, is because those that doesn't like dogs in general are rather loud and open about that opinion.


Glad he behaved so well and hope you get many more beaming-moments in the future.
