Proud of my Girl!! First ODE

Just wanted to say that I completed mine and my horses first ODE, after 4 years of blood, sweat and tears. There wasn't much style to it and there were faults on both parts but we did finish and got safely home!!
Anyone else out there having similiar difficulties please bear with them, I promise it is all worth it

um I did SL on sat and for the first time in 4 years didn't fall off and wasn't eliminated.

A bit of work to do still as I was so shocked he jumped the first I had forgotten about my plan for the second! cue lost stirrup and loss of oomph.

Oh and must wear the glasses that don't keep slipping down my nose next time!

It was nice to see a score up instead of an E though would be nice to have gone clear as we were second after the SJ, hey ho next year!

I was at SL too!! It was a great day, like you i was really pleased to have a score at the end of the day even if it was a the very high!
Lots of work still to do but I'm off to SL camp on thursday for 5 days hopefully that will help iron out some of our problems!

yup, we are planning a run at the 4 consecutive hunter trials at pontis/sl to finally crack this!!

(he is 17 btw and has done this all before but is hampered by concern for the blonde girlfriend buggering off with someone better looking

)
