Proud of my pony (and myself)! Minor achievement but happy.

I did my first solo hack up to the local kennels today. We were out for 45 minutes and it was great fun riding along in the sunshine. Pony was a lot more spooky that usual and flinched at every sparrow and rabbit that we went past. We had nearly got home and were riding through an open field when she did a massive spook at a bird that flapped out of the hedge. Unfortunately, she exited stage right and I went left so my back feels very tender now (just had phsyio to put left sacro iliac joint back in place) but I am so happy that we went out together and enjoyed the wonderful weather

I want to go again tomorrow but I've got a flatwork lesson so I will only manage a short hack to cool her down. Fingers crossed that the weekend is sunny

I hacked mine out today for the first time in 2 weeks, I was very apprehensive but she was great.

Well done its a fantastic feeling isnt it?? The weather today is gorgeous isnt it? just nice for a pootle out. Im sure the more you do the less spooky it will be!!
