proud of my pony today

The odds were stacked against us
4yo pony broken by me, no 'facilities' at home, no showjumps, riding very intermitent since June due to weather & work, schooling done out hacking, me being near 50yo & not done a dressage test or ridden showjumps for 25 year.
Well my little mare only went & got 2nd in her ridden class, then 2nd in her intro dressage with some lovely judge's comments. To cap it all we did the baby showjumping, she loved it. Jumped beautifully, took me into the jumps & went clear, then did the jump off & we got 2nd.
I am so proud of her & had a lovely day out

just goes to show that it can be done for those of us who cant afford the nice school and lorry to the venues.

as much as i would like to i will not be able to do this for a few years yet so i too will have to do most of it without the nice facilities. but as you have proved it can be done
