totaly pointless post for a serial lurker... but im need to tell someone how proud i am of myself.
After having my first baby i totally lost my confidence, i owned a horse that was too much for me and pretty much stopped riding (mum and sister also ride said horse so she wasnt just thrown out in a field to be wasted)
. Eventually started doing a bit more and a bit more then fell pregnant with my second, just after i found out i was pregnany i jumped izzy over a fence of no more than 55/60 cm for some reason un known to us she put in a huge jump YO was watching and said she jumped atleast 5foot... i fell off and being pregnant decided getting back on was just far too risky.
fast forward to yesterday and izzy has been sold to a lovely home who will bring out her dressarge potential and we own a lovely ish how although still very green at 6 is a little supper star even mum after a 25 year break has started competing again! However, i am so nervous have completly lost my confidence until yesterday decided that life is too short i need to.man up and after seeing pictures of a lass at HOYS jumping in the 12.2 when her legs hardly reached the bottom of the saddle flaps that i was being pathetic.
so i got on yesterday with my new found deterination did some lovely schooling with tom then went on to jump 80/90cm which may not seem anything to all you lovely people but im so proud of myself
Thanks if you read all that i just want to shout from the roof tops and mum was there and dont know anyone else horsey to tell
