Not for anything big or amazing, just for coming as far as she has. Feel a bit like my patience has paid off finally, and that i know her inside out and vice versa :)

I've had her for just over 4 years, she came to me as a companion for a horse i didn't gel with (took a while to realise that!) barely handled, over reactive to every little thing, if she was excited she would fling herself about, pranced everywhere, wouldn't stay tied up etc. The amount of times she's tried to wind me up is unreal, but the minute i saw her i just felt connected to her so wouldn't have ever considered giving up on her.

Realised straight away if i could get her on my 'team' and focused on the job she could do anything. She can jump ridiculous heights (field fences from a standstill ) her paces are amazing to watch, she shows herself off naturally and she's the smartest little pony I've ever met!
She will never be a riding pony so had to come up with ideas to entertain her, first time i took her for a walk we got 5 minutes down the road and she reared vertically several times, bronked and pranced as she was just too excited. But now she's the most well mannered horse out on the roads, waits patiently for cars doesn't spook at anything, loves being nosey at any houses we pass and will go out for miles on her own :)
Never used to be able to canter her on the lunge as she got too excited and would bolt flat out bronking
But now she's a star to lunge, will go completely off my voice and now does stand (perfectly square too!) and a lovely balanced rocking horse canter!
Could not get her anywhere near water before hoses/puddles anything would send her into a panic and now she stands perfectly still to have her legs hosed every night, will splash through the deepest puddles and even tip the water bucket (which she thinks is hilarious!)
She stands up perfectly to be tied up, perfect manners when handled, picks up her feet on command, bows and im teaching her the Spanish walk now which she's picking up really quickly.
She's calmer, thinks before she acts rather than blind panicking, and best of all tries her heart out for me :)
She will always have her naughty side, but that's just her and i wouldn't change her for the world!

Sorry that's really long and soppy but just hope it helps anyone who is in the same situation i was with her 4 years ago to see that its well worth persevering with the difficult ones. :)

I'm guessing by your username she's a Twyford..? Any chance you would PM me her name/breeding, as I had a lot of dealings with the stud when it was running, and might know her.
