Proud moment today on a hack with my boy we met a lot of cyclist and he was as good as gold. This time a few months ago he would of spooked but he was such a good boy, just goes to show how some time and patience can help get your horse use to things. He is only 6 and is starting to see that not everything is scary :)

You should be proud - well done both of you. Can I just say what nice cyclists you have in your area - the ones around here are rude and inconsiderate and they do not slow down for horses at all. It wouldn't matter so much but they are usually going very fast in large groups. It really doesn't hurt to be nice to each other does it?

Fab :) well done. I had a proud rider moment too today, I rode my 5yo and led another horse from him. He's never done that before and was good as gold.

Calm, friendly, polite and considerate; that applies to you and the cyclists! If only everyone behaved like that, what a nicer world it would be. And of course, well done to your brave youngster!
