Pointless post but so proud of 11yr old daughter. Absolutely loves her hunting and with 3 other girls they have become lovely, independent and responsible people.

At recent hunt bashes they have been in charge of waitressing and last night 120people enjoyed a full scale roast etc. A hat was passed round for any tip for the girls as unpaid, and they ended up with other£30 each....which they promptly gave back to thwway Supporters Club and some towards the Hunt staffs Christmas box. Totally unprompted and as a thank you for being looked after.

As I said, pointless post but was proud of their actions :)

Lovely to hear, no wonder you're proud of them all. I don't think there's anything like hunting to teach them responsibilities towards others and have fun at the same time.
Well done them.

Ditto.

My daughters have waitressed for the Hunt in the past too, all unpaid, but unfortunately there was no whip-round!

Thank you all- I did feel very self indulgent! But when I saw how hard they worked,as everywhere was left immaculate, and then you hear how others their age (all under 14) spend their time with no idea of right, wrong or consideration of others I think it is great they are given the opportunity to learn and be appreciated.
