Hi, Need to replace my bp. I have the Racesafe and I have always got on well with it. Has anyone got the new ProVent 3.0? I'm thinking of replacing with this but they only do it in black and have no plans to offer any other colours. Is it significantly more comfortable than the RS2010? Also looking at the Dainese if anyone has compared the two. Thanks
 
I have a ProVent 3 and I did try both the previous model and the ProVent 3 when getting one fitted and found the ProVent 3 more comfortable, perhaps because it is lighter. I felt it was worth the small price difference to have the newer model and it was more comfortable for me. Never rode in the previous model though to compare.
 
Thanks. I think I will go and try one and take my old racesafe with me. There is hardly anything in the price but I may have to re-think my xc colours as the black really won't work!
 
We've just bought my daughter the new racesafe, she says it feels even lighter than her previous racesafe and it fits her better and we always find the shoulders a little roomy on the original racesafe. It's much easier to adjust with the side toggle rather than laces.
My only negative was I personally don't think it looks as nice!
