So back in February my horse injured his nearside hind proximal suspensory. We thought all was going well we have just started trotting in his rehab programme and hes lame again. The PSL isnt coping with the work load so now hes to be "turned away" for 12months as me and the vet have said all along hes not suitable to be operated on due his hock conformation.

I was considering getting an arc equine and wondered of others had used them on a PSL injury.

Jay had a very slight suspensory issue, it was tiny and he was only lame for a few strides when changing rein, completely sound otherwise.

He had PRP, shockwave, Arc Equine, Magnets, cold hosing, ice, anti inflammatories, rest, in hand walking and came completely sound. The suspensory scanned completely clear.

Did the Arc do it? Don't know, I operated a scattergun approach! The vet did say that the science was sound, although he would not comment on the efficacy of the individual product.

I suspect the rest and steady return to work was the best cure. Although the scans did return to normal quicker than expected.

Sadly he then became a wobbler, you can't win them all.
