Hi there, and HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone.

Well after lots of analysing and 333 samples later I have started to sort out some results from all the horsey data. But I was wondering if everybody that has completed a questionnaire, or indeed anybody that owns a horse and has a few seconds to spare could complete the following questions. I’m investigating whether the type of turnout a horse receives affects his/her psychological behaviour and the following questions serve as a follow-up to my original questionnaire, to hopefully help explain some of my current findings:

Hi I've just done your old questionnaire, will now do your new one! I have two horses so will answer questions twice, for Luca (L) and Roscoe (R).

1. LA REii- stabled most of the time, turned out for approx 3 hours every afternoon.

2. L 1 compliant, 2 lively, 3 content
R 1 withdrawn, 2 compliant, 3 nervous - sounds bad!

I would have picked friendly, loving and charming for Roscoe but they weren't options! He is not particularly any of the words used but the three i picked i suppose were the closest of the choice available!
 
I answered your questionnaire for my mare:
1)Ei) Stabled day in summer, night in winter
2)CONTENT, ASSERTIVE, CONFIDENT

She has been stabled 24/7 in the past and after a couple of months became aggressive to horses and people and really depressed with no interest in anything.

For my gelding:
1) as above
2) CONTENT, LIVELY, PLAYFUL
