Public Liability Insurance for new business

My O/H is starting his own business breaking and pre-training. He has been looking into Public Liability insurance and the first quote from SEIB is nearly 3k, ouch!!

I feel very naive but is it really that expensive?
Who else should we try? We are waiting to hear from NFU.

hi, i deal with all types of small start up businesses and basically yes, it can be that expensive. i suggest you go to a broker and get a range of quotes. good luck!

sounds about right, also make sure that you also get 3c cover as well, as he will be in charge of othr peoples horses. Good luck
