Public Liability Insurance

I've never really though about it and know the BHS provides it as part of their membership but who else offers it? Like BE / BSJA / BD / BRC?

Endurance GB membership definitely provides 3rd party liability, I believe BE does too. Suspect you get it with membership to most affiliated bodies but check if the cover provided is for during events only.

Most affiliated organisations do. Definately need as if your horses stray and cause any damage, your are entirely responsible. Even, for arguements sake, it is someone else's fault (walkers leaving gates open.) have heard that 3 rd parties will sometimes go for the yard manager if owner has no insurance, which is why my YO DOES have backup, bit strictly speaking.. Buck stops with the owner. Good news is that its not expensive!

So does BRC cover it? May re-join BSJA and BE again sometime but not right now. Joining an RC is a lot cheaper, if they offer it?

Country Land Owners? I've got Public Indemnity with them, also BHS Gold Membership, but then I have a lot of dogs as well. Probably over insured but will be reviewing this shortly.
