hi all.

so last year i dramatically cut my horses insurance premiums by removing all of the public liabililty i had on all of my horses policies - and joined the BHS as a gold member meaning that they were all covered for a lot less than it was costing before. My membership is about to expire BUT.... TBH, i dont fancy renewing with the BHS as i havent had any benefit from it really apart from the fact i had their public liability cover if needed.

so... i am pondering!
BHS = £62
WHW = £52
BS supporter membership = £29
BS club membership = £30 (not sure if any of the club shows happen in my area though)

can anyone think of anywhere else that is now doing the 'membership that also included public liability'? i'd ideally like to get one that i am either going to get other use from or help a worthy cause etc.

Who do you have yours with (i assume most 1 horse owners etc have it just on their horse policy but when you own mutiple horses - it can get silly)

thanks.

BHS. Have also never needed to use any of the other facilities, legal advice etc but it's there if you do need it, also the mag is decent and I don't mind them having my money, they do some good work.

I'm a member of the Countryside Alliance and membership also provides liability insurance and covers me for personal accident/disability for team chasing and hunting. Think there's also a death benefit payable. £60 per annum ... but I guess may only be relevant if you're going to be doing some country pursuits! :)

BHS but that's because the woods round here are all permit rides and you need depending on if you speak to the rangers or look on their website either £5m or £10m public liability insurance which insurance companies (NFU & SEIB) don't offer.
