I am now with Vagsb but used to hunt with Puckeridge expect lots of plough and ditches particularly where you are going on Sat , there is a small bit of parkland behind the kennels that you may use depending on the draw
Check the weather as well as I think it is due to be wet at the weekend,
Nice crowd and you should have a good if a little wet day .I may see you there
Thanks Billyslad-nice to know someone else is going to the joint meet!I think i might take OH's spare horse rather than my little cob if its plough- hope its not too wet for us ;-)
Oh and for the benefit of SL- that includes the hounds!
Darkly Dreaming Dex - We're looking forward to seeing you. The going is very deep at the moment but what fences we have are jumpable and the ditches are a bit more interesting than usual. Watch out for the Percy Specials at the meet - I know the downside through bitter experience. If you want the full story, say hello to me: I ride a bay and wear a grey Patey hat. I will have my 13 year old daughter with me - she will be on a bay 13.2 - see you Saturday!
*waves* HI! I like the sound of "interesting" ditches!! and Percy Specials- reminds me of a really fun day with the RA when the guy at the meet said "Have the white cider- its for the laydees" cant remember much else about the day!!My OH will be on an appaloosa, i will be on a bay! See you there - great news the weather has improved BL
Thanks Puckeridge for a friendly welcome and a lovely days hunting- ate far too much at the tea afterwards and didn't get home til 9pm but it was worth it and we hope to come and visit in future
