I'm a little bit worried cos my oldie has a bit of a puffy tendon.

it's bn there a while but tbh I thought because she's not lame it must b ok, but I of course know better. Last night it was hot, tho I've not checked it before so this might not b a new thing. She doesn't seem bothered, isn't lame, and doesn't seem 2 b botherin her but I'm a bit worried.

If I box rest her she'll box walk so I think I'll keep her out but not ride 4 a few days and cold hose it should be a good start.

Wot do u think?

The ground is very hard at the moment so it could just be from that, try cold hosing for 10 minutes a couple of times a day.

My horse had this when there was loads of ice, it might be something different but the vet said it as concussion and she had to have each leg hosed twice a day for ten minutes and box rest for up to five days - she got better after two luckily xx

Tendon injuries often don't cause lameness & have very little heat, just some swelling to start with.
If you have any doubt you should get the vet asap. You need to know as your treatment for a tendon injury will be critical in the early stages.
